McCoy, Diane Rosemary 71 07/22/1939 10/07/2010 With love and honor we celebrate the life of Diane Rosemary McCoy who was born July 22, 1939, in the town of Victorville, Calif. She passed away Oct. 7, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. As a child, she lived with her father, Edward Carl; mother, Lovina Adeline Adams; and siblings, LaVina Evelyn and Robert Edward. Diane attended Washington High School in Portland, graduating in 1957, majoring in mathematics. She was an avid roller skater who participated in multiple competitions. Diane is survived by her husband, Duane; and children, Robert, Susan, and Daniel. Her son, David, preceded her in death. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. For the past 12 years, until her sudden illness, she worked for Rod Beck, a local attorney. Diane was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was fun, smart, talented, stylish, and had a great sense of humor. She had many interests and accomplishments throughout her lifetime. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, tole painting, sewing, cross-stitching, knitting, family reunions, holidays, and hiking trips. Her loving husband spoiled her with gourmet meals, exotic trips to Hawaii, and golfing trips with her grandchildren. Diane was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A bright light has gone and it's so very hard to imagine our family without her. She lives on in our hearts and through our memories. She left us too soon, but the time came and she was called home. We thank her for the wonderful 71 years she shared with us. We will miss her eternally
